Frequently asked questions
Questions about a specific competition — dates, teams, fixtures — are answered on that competition’s own page.
Basics
What is a business prediction game?
A prediction game in your own corporate design that you offer to your customers, members or employees. Every matchday brings them back to your site voluntarily — past your products, sponsors and prizes.
Why do participants really come back?
Because there is more than the prediction itself: line-ups and form before kick-off, the live ticker during the match, highlights and the matchday review afterwards, plus leaderboards and duels across the whole season. The prediction is the occasion — the depth is the reason to return. And every return happens in your corporate design.
How is this different from a free prediction game online?
Three things: it runs under your brand and your address instead of someone else’s. It shows your products, sponsors and prizes instead of third-party ads. And the participant data stays yours — we process it as a processor on your behalf, not for our own purposes.
Who it is for
Who is a company prediction game worth it for?
Above all for companies looking for a voluntary reason to return — advertising nobody clicks away. It works for retail and trades just as well as for service providers, car dealerships, breweries or energy suppliers; what matters is not size but that your customers like football or handball. It works equally well for clubs (members and sponsors) and for internal company games among colleagues.
Can customers and employees take part at the same time?
Yes. Both groups then play in the same instance and the same leaderboard — the simplest and least expensive route. If they are to stay strictly separate, with their own address, leaderboard and reporting, that means two instances and therefore two packages. Talk to us and we will price both options.
How many participants are possible?
The packages are tiered by number of participants — from a small group to several thousand. We quote larger numbers on request. The pricing page shows which tier fits you; it can still be changed later.
Competitions & sports
Which competitions can be booked?
Football and handball are bookable right away — from the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League through the major European leagues to the Handball-Bundesliga, DHB-Pokal and EHF competitions. Plus the tournaments: World Cup 2026, EURO 2028, World Cup 2030, Handball World Championship 2027 and Handball EURO 2028. We implement seven further sports on request.
Is there a Bundesliga prediction game for companies?
Yes — the Bundesliga prediction game for companies is the most common case: 34 matchdays from August to May, nine months of recurring occasions. The 2. Bundesliga, 3. Liga and DFB-Pokal are equally bookable, as are the Champions League, Europa League and the major foreign leagues. The season change is built in — fixtures and results sync in automatically.
Can we offer a World Cup prediction game for our company?
Yes. Tournaments have their own packages with a fixed one-time price per tournament: World Cup 2026 (11 June to 19 July 2026, 48 teams, 104 matches), EURO 2028 and World Cup 2030. A World Cup game is the easiest way in — four weeks, high participation, no season-long commitment.
Is there a handball World Championship prediction game for companies too?
Yes, and there is a design template built specifically for handball. The Handball World Championship 2027 and the Handball EURO 2028 are bookable as tournament packages, as are the Handball-Bundesliga, 2. Handball-Bundesliga, DHB-Pokal, EHF Champions League and EHF European League as a season. For companies in the handball world — sponsors, arena partners, regional businesses — a handball prediction game is often the stronger hook than football, simply because there is less competition.
Pricing & ordering
What does a business prediction game cost?
A fixed one-time price per season or tournament — no subscriptions, no minimum term. The price depends on the package, the customer type (company, club, private) and the number of participants. All packages and what they include are on the pricing page.
Is there a subscription or a minimum term?
No. You pay once for the season or tournament you booked. Afterwards you decide again whether to continue — nothing renews automatically and nothing needs cancelling.
How can we pay?
The “Payment methods” page and the checkout show which payment routes are currently available. You receive the invoice and order confirmation as PDFs by email; for companies and clubs the invoice also comes as an e-invoice (ZUGFeRD).
Can we get a quote in advance?
Yes. Via the contact form or by phone — we send a written quote that you can later accept with one click in your account. For special cases such as very large participant numbers or several instances, that is the usual route.
Process & setup
How long until the game is online?
If you set up the design yourself, your game is usually online within 48 hours — add your logo and colours, choose a competition, done. If we take on the design, it depends on which material reaches us and in what quality. To keep that smooth, your customer account holds a detailed guide that gives your design team every size and format precisely.
What happens if we cannot supply any material?
Then we work with what there is. We read colours from a logo, there is a design without photos for missing imagery, and for the rules, FAQ and “About us” pages we supply standard copy you can adopt or adapt.
Can we see the result beforehand?
Yes. Before going live your game is available as a password-protected test version — for you and your colleagues only. You report change requests straight from your account; we repeat that round until the result fits.
Do we need our own domain?
No. Without your own domain your game runs at your-company.business-tippspiel.de. If you want an address of your own, like tippspiel.your-company.com, your IT provider sets a single CNAME record — the instructions are in your account, step by step for the common providers.
Can we track the current status?
Yes, in your customer account. It shows the same roadmap as the process page, plus your own status: what is done, what is running and what is needed from you next.
Design & brand
Does the game really run in our corporate design?
Yes — logo, brand colours, fonts and imagery. Several ready-made templates set the overall feel, including one built specifically for handball; from the Max package invitations and reminders also appear in your design rather than the platform look, and in the Ultra package the appearance is fully white-label, with no reference to us. You can try out how your design might look in the configurator, without obligation.
What does a bespoke design adjustment cost?
If you would rather not set up the corporate design yourself, we take it on as the “corporate design perfection” add-on. It is available at the same price in the Standard, Pro and Max packages and is already included in the Ultra package. The pricing page shows the current amount under add-ons.
Can we maintain the game ourselves?
Yes. You maintain branding, content, prizes and copy in your own admin area — without us and without any coding. If you would rather not, you leave the setup to us; both are possible, also after the fact.
Technology, privacy & operations
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, and that is by design: data minimisation, granular consent, your own legal texts per instance and no advertising trackers in the game. For companies and clubs we conclude the data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR automatically with the first order — you confirm it with one click in your account and receive it as a PDF.
Do we have to install anything or provide a server?
No. The game runs on our infrastructure; you need neither a server nor software. At most one DNS record is needed on your side, if you want to use your own address.
Which languages does the game run in?
German and English are included in every package. French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Polish are bookable as additional languages — in the Ultra package all of them are already included.
Who supports us if something does not work?
We do, by email from Münster, Germany — with priority in the higher packages. You report faults and questions straight from your customer account so that each case and its history stay in one place.
