Eredivisie — prediction game
The Eredivisie is the most predictable of the major leagues — in scheduling terms. In the 2026/27 season every single one of its 34 matchdays falls on a weekend: no midweek rounds, no Tuesday night, no fixture pulled into the middle of the working week. Set up an Eredivisie prediction game and you know all 34 dates in advance, and can build an occasion around each of them.
It is also right next door. No time difference, no unfamiliar kick-off times: a match at half past two in Eindhoven is a match at half past two in Kleve. For companies in the border region or with Dutch customers, this is not a trip abroad — it is a home fixture.

The competition
18 clubs, 34 matchdays, everyone against everyone home and away: structurally the same reliable league mechanics as the Bundesliga — with one difference that matters more to a marketing calendar than any table constellation. The Eredivisie plays its entire season at the weekend.
That sounds like a footnote and is, in practice, the whole point. Midweek rounds are the reason a matchday suddenly lands on a Tuesday nobody was expecting — a bad moment for a newsletter, a bad moment for a campaign, half the turnout. In the Eredivisie that does not happen. You can put 34 weekends in the calendar a year ahead and know they will hold.
The winter break, too, runs almost in step with the Bundesliga: it stops shortly before Christmas and resumes in early January. Offer both competitions in parallel and you get one shared rhythm instead of two calendars working against each other.

Why an Eredivisie prediction game?
34 weekends, no midweek rounds
Friday evening to Sunday afternoon — and never in between. Your campaign needs no plan B for the Tuesday on which they suddenly play after all.
Next door, no time difference
The Netherlands share the same time zone. Kick-off times need no converting — they fit the German evening, because it is the same evening.
In Dutch as well
German and English are always included, and Dutch joins them as a further language — included from Ultra, otherwise as an add-on. Your customers in Venlo predict in their own language.
How it plays out
That is not a claim about Dutch football but about the platform: this is how an Eredivisie matchday runs on your page.
It starts on Friday evening
The Eredivisie opens its matchdays on Friday and closes them on Sunday afternoon. Predictions stay open until kick-off, match by match — miss the Friday game and you can still predict the Sunday one on Sunday. A missed kick-off does not cost the whole matchday.
While the match runs, the table keeps up
Results arrive continuously, points and positions move with them — every goal reshuffles the field. You have nothing to enter; the scoring is done by itself after the final whistle.
And on Monday it is quiet again
This is where it differs from any league with midweek rounds: after Sunday comes, reliably, the next weekend. Your participants settle into a rhythm that never breaks step — and habit is exactly what turns 34 dates into 34 visits.
Between matchdays is where it is decided
Anyone who wants to know how the next opponent is performing, or how they stand against the colleague from the next office, comes back on their own — voluntarily, logged in, in your colours.
Brand touchpoints across the season
One visit per matchday, cumulative over the season — every point a brand touchpoint.

Frequently asked questions
How big is the Eredivisie?
34 matchdays with 18 clubs, nine matches per matchday, 306 per season. The 2026/27 season runs from 7 August 2026 to 23 May 2027.
Are there midweek rounds?
Not one in the 2026/27 season: all 34 matchdays fall between Friday and Sunday. That makes the Eredivisie the most predictable fixture list among the major leagues — you can set your occasions a year in advance.
Can the prediction game run in Dutch?
Yes. German and English are included in every package; Dutch is one of the five further languages — automatically included from the Ultra package, otherwise bookable per language as an add-on. The platform interface is already translated for it; your own content you maintain per language yourself.
Who is an Eredivisie prediction game right for?
For companies in the German-Dutch border region, with Dutch locations or customers. The league is in the same time zone, the clubs are known on this side of the border — and an Eredivisie prediction game is a gesture that a Bundesliga game does not replace.
When is the winter break?
The league pauses after the matchday on 20 December 2026 and returns on the weekend of 8 January 2027 — almost in step with the Bundesliga. Offer both in parallel and you get one shared rhythm instead of two calendars getting in each other’s way.
